Room for Three

Blackwood Resort Episode 2 begins with bad news at check-in: one reserved room has flooded, so Oliver, Stacy, and Samantha must share. Oliver isn't pleased. A work call pulls him away, and Stacy heads to a private session with the resort trainer. When Oliver returns, he's distracted by his boss. He sees someone in the bathroom, assumes it's his wife, and acts on that assumption. What happens when he realizes he may be wrong?

The funniest part of this chapter is how quickly a practical hotel problem becomes a personal one. One damaged room removes the space Oliver expected to have with Stacy, and he's the only person who seems especially bothered. That difference matters.

His work call also catches him at a bad moment, leaving him distracted before he walks back into the room. The chapter doesn't need an elaborate trick to create its misunderstanding. A familiar setting, a rushed assumption, and an already irritated newlywed do the job.
